Keiono is a lock for the apps that eat your family's evenings — and the key lives on your phone. One tap locks them. One tap opens them. That's the whole thing.
Other apps monitor your child — their texts, their searches, where they are. Keiono doesn't. It can't. It's built on Apple's Family Controls, so it only ever controls access. It never sees content.
You set the limits. They keep their privacy. Trust goes both ways.
Most parental controls are powerful and abandoned in a folder somewhere. Keiono is one screen and one tap.
The tricks that beat basic screen-time settings don't work here.
Apple doesn't let any app block Messages or app downloads — not ours, not anyone's. So Keiono's setup walks you through the iPhone settings that do, in about a minute, and you finish with everything covered.
We'd rather tell you that up front than have you find out later.
Free to download, with a 7-day free trial. Cancel any time in iOS Settings.
Founding Families keep this price for life.
A real person reads every message — usually the person who built the app. We aim to reply within one business day.
It helps if you mention which phone the problem is on — yours or your child's — and what you saw on screen.
Open Keiono on their phone and check that Screen Time permission is still granted — iOS drops it if someone turns Screen Time off. The app tells you on its main screen when this has happened, and one tap re-grants it.
Check the notifications row on your main screen. If it reads "Silenced until…", requests are muted — tap it to let them through. Otherwise make sure notifications are allowed for Keiono in iOS Settings.
Tap "Add a child" on your main screen. Each child gets their own profile, their own pairing code and their own schedule. The family plan covers as many as you have.
Open that child from your main screen and choose "Remove". Their phone unlocks first, then they come off your account. Keiono stays installed on their phone — they can delete it, or you can pair it again later.
iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Keiono. Apple handles cancellations and refunds. Unlocking your child's phone keeps working even if your subscription lapses.
Delete Keiono from both phones and syncing stops immediately. To have the record itself deleted, email us — you don't have to explain why.
